The Hills & District Chamber of Commerce is a friendly and supportive Chamber of Commerce covering the Ferny Hills, Arana Hills, Ferny Grove, Keperra, Mitchelton and surrounding districts of north Brisbane, Australia.

Established on the 28th July 1992, our Chamber is affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland, and runs on a not-for-profit basis.

The Blackwood Street Chamber of Commerce is an advocate for issues that will generally assist business and our local community. We work with local business and community groups, and all levels of government to achieve successful outcomes for the area.

To assist with the growth and development of this vibrant precinct, a range of events are held throughout the year.

Gaythorne RSL is located in the leafy suburb of Mitchelton on Samford Road, a 10-15 minute drive from the Brisbane CBD. Access to the carpark and entry to the Club is via Tel El-Kebir Street.

Rotary Club of Mitchelton was sponsored by the Rotary Club of Chermside. It was chartered on 10th April, 1967 with a membership of 24. The Charter President was Col Kirkpatrick and the Charter Secretary: John H. Campbell.
It sponsored the establishment of the Rotary club of Stafford in 1975 and the Rotary Club of Samford in 1980.

Wilko Painting specialise in interior and exterior painting and decorating services for domestic, commercial and industrial clients across the entire South East Queensland region.

Electrotech’s core business is the servicing and sale of high quality communications and navigation equipment for the civilian and naval maritime sectors.  Electrotech also supplies and supports land mobile satellite communication systems to a wide range of customers.

The Moreton Bay Region is a local government area located in the north of the Brisbane metropolitan area in South East Queensland, Australia. Established in 2008, it replaced three established local government areas, the City of Redcliffe and the Shires of Pine Rivers and Caboolture.

In 2017 Picabeen has been awarded St George Foundation grant funding for the third year in a row. This additional funding allows Picabeen to continue to employ a Community Youth Project (CYP) worker to address local needs of vulnerable young people aged 10-18 years who are at risk of being socially isolated and disengaged. The CYP worker will also work with young people who can benefit from extra encouragement and skills to ensure that foundations are laid for developing strong citizens into the future.

Our premises are leased from Brisbane City Council at a peppercorn rent.

The Queensland State Government funds our youth workers and neighbourhood centre activities.
