Would you like to contribute to the community as a Picabeen volunteer?

A volunteer Reception Worker is the first point of contact for community members seeking to access the services and activities of Picabeen Community Centre. This role is diverse and complex with a broad range of people walking in or phoning. Some may be nervous, embarrassed, vulnerable or at-risk. Others may be enthusiastic, happy and talkative. The Reception Worker will respond to everyone in a respectful and empathetic manner. This position also includes a range of administrative tasks and other duties.

Successful grant applications are essential to the ongoing growth and success of Picabeen Community Centre. A Grants and Applications volunteer will be skilled at sourcing, writing and following up grants applications. The Picabeen team will  provide support however previous experience is essential.
