What's Happening in 2010
Picabeen Community Centre held many fun activities during the school holidays: The Animal Farm attracted lots of children and parents, the jewellery making workshops were booked out, the Vulcana circus workshop was challenging, and there many other activities. Planning is already underway for school holiday activities this year.

The weekly craft group on Tuesdays has an exciting  plan of activities so we encourage anyone who would like to learn, or just to join in with other locals making something, to drop in.

Parent-Child Music Group

Monique Bathis is a Registered Music Therapist planning to commence a parent-child music program for children and their parents here at Picabeen Community Centre.

Music is not only a wonderful tool to use with children but is also a great motivator, encouraging involvement and participation in stimulating activities. parent and child music groups are a fantastic way to enhance the parent-child relationship in a fun, sociable environment.

Activities would include: singing nursery rhymes and other familiar childrens songs, movement to music, playing instruments and other activities both sung and played live by Monique or with use of CDs and other sound technology.

Please contact Monique on 0412 127 415 or moniquebathis@live.com.au for more information on prices and any other queries you may have.
